I definitely have a love affair with Australia.

I’ve survived the 23+ hours of travel back and forth multiple times, having studied abroad for a semester when I was 19, then visiting in 2015, then getting convinced by my Aussie friends to live there in 2016-2017 on a sponsored visa with a marketing agency.

I just vibe with this country unlike anywhere else. The beaches (duh), surf culture, sarcastic humor, fun laid-back attitudes, warm weather, healthy food, cool style + design, conscious living, a love of travel. I think if my personality was a country it would be Australia.

What I miss most about living in Australia is of course my amazing friends there. How did I get so lucky to meet so many cool people. I also miss the day-to-day life, so I try to find ways to mix Aussie vibes in with my life in the States or wherever I travel as much as possible.

I lived in Sydney, so I have TONS of recommendations for this gorgeous town and Australia-wide itineraries as well (especially for Americans who usually only go for 10-14 days). Just ask me for info or read my posts below!
